Personal Biography of Nathan:

Originally born in the Mountain State of West Virginia, Nathan Shaffer was raised in the small towns of Crucible and Carmichaels, Pennsylvania. Beginning Piano at age four with an organist for his local church, Nathan performed at many recitals and regular Sunday services. After nearly eight years of lessons, talent shows, community events and the realization that he had "perfect pitch," Nathan started composing and playing guitar at 11 years of age.

Nathan's passion for the guitar gave way to playing Rock and Roll, Blues, Christian and Country Music. He played with two local youth group bands and other projects by the age of 14. He joined his school choir and was a percussionist in his high school marching band and performed with county and district ensembles where he learned to play the drum set for the school's Pep Band, and performed once with the WVU Pep Band.

Nathan was the Co-founder of a heavy metal project, Vengeance Remains, who performed heavily in the Pittsburgh area at venues including Alter Bar and 42nd Street, where they performed with Joey Belladonna of the legendary band Anthrax.

After graduation, Nathan became the drummer for the project band, Crooked Gun as well as performing as a solo Country artist. Nathan signed with Mason Ridge Entertainment in 2014 and released his debut single, "Land of the Back Road," blending Rock and Roll with Old School Twang while adding his own authentic, driving attitude into the mix. Influenced by artists ranging from the Rock's Randy Rhoads, Angus Young and Country Music's Brantley Gilbert, Tim McGraw and Blake Shelton, he is currently working on his first full album entitled: "Enjoy the Ride."
